Band from appearing, Kang Ji-hwan "Sweet..." on the first step of coming back

Strong lead role candidate for "Sweet Scandal"... SBS, tuning with the Korean Entertainment Management Association (KEMA).

Kang Ji-hwan who has been on the down low for creating a stir with his exclusive contract problem is on the verge of coming back.

He is now a strong candidate for the new SBS drama "Sweet Scnadal" (Also known as "Lie to Me", written by Kim Ye-ri, produced by Kim Soo-ryong). His management apparently has currently asked the KEMA about his possibilities of being in the drama. It has also been known someone from SBS has also put in an enquiry about the possibility of his appearance therefore being reported in the media.

Kang Ji-hwan sent an official document to the KEMA last year December saying, "I will take some time to self-reflect myself". He therefore stepped down from the drama "Faith" he was supposed to be in and went under the radar. This action by Kang Ji-hwan should've resolved problems with the KEMA, therefore he shouldn't have any problems in returning to the screens with "Sweet Scandal" ("Lie to Me").

A spokesperson from the KEMA said, "The KEMA has no reason to stop a single actor from starring in something. We just asked him to take resposibility for the shame he had caused, messing up the order in the business. He reflected on himself even stepping down from something he made plans to do so we do not intend on stopping him from what he does in the future".

In 2008 December, Kang Ji-hwan sent a termination of contract to his previous management with 8 months left to go and signed another one with his current management, S Plus Management and caused trouble. Later, the previous and current management came to terms in September last year but the KEMA asked that Kang Ji-hwan take some time off for the time being.
